In Guangzhou, one place to consider is Riverside Youth Hostel (Guangzhou Jiangpan Qingnian Lvshe). Located at No. 15, Changdi Street, Luju Road, Liwan District, the hostel is across Pearl River from Shamian Island, where the U.S. Embassy is located. A bed costs 50-60 yuan and a room 100-200 yuan. Guangzhou Binjiang Youth Hostel is located at No. 405 Yanjian Dong Road, Dashatou. It is on the southern bank of the Pearl River, close to Jiangwan Bridge, where the Inner Beltway and Donghaoyong Elevated Freeway converge. Comparable price. Phone 020-87304200.
