Quan Ju De is the restaurant known for its roasted Peking Duck. It is believed to be the best for this particular type of Chinese cuisine. The restaurant now has many locations in Beijing, but the one on the Qianmen Dajie (Front Gate Avenue) is the original establishment. Front Gate Avenue is the street leading off south from the Tiananmen Square. Quan Ju De litterally means "the gathering of all the virtues."
