Beijing Capital International Airport is the main airport that serves Beijing. A new terminal at the airport, Terminal 3, was recently completed and came into service, just in time for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. The terminal, with one million floor area, is the largest airport terminal in the world. There are five floors in the terminal, five above ground and two under. The newly finished Beijing Airport Express, the light-rail serve connecting Beijing airport and the city, has a stop at Terminal 3.
